Some places don't need to be transformed. They simply deserve care, respect and time.
Vila na Colina was once part of a traditional Portuguese farmhouse with grain barn. During its restoration, every effort was made to preserve its original character while carefully introducing the comforts of modern living
Today, it is a place where family and friends come together. Where long days outdoors naturally turn into long evenings on the terrace, and where the ever-changing landscape offers something new to admire every day.
We hope you'll feel as at home here as we did while bringing this special place back to life.

Behind its historic stone walls, Vila na Colina offers all the comfort needed for a relaxing stay. The original character of the farmhouse has been carefully preserved, while modern amenities ensure a comfortable and carefree holiday. Thick stone walls naturally help keep the interior cool in summer, while spacious living areas, comfortable bedrooms and panoramic terraces create a welcoming place to unwind.

The original eira (threshing floor), preserved as a reminder of the property’s rural heritage.

Nestled between the historic city of Coimbra and the peaceful countryside of Central Portugal lies a region that still feels authentic and untouched.
The landscape is shaped by the Serra de Sicó, a remarkable limestone mountain range known for its rolling hills, hidden valleys and striking rock formations such as the Buracas do Casmilo. Walking trails, cycling routes and quiet country roads invite guests to explore the area at their own pace.
The region is also home to historic villages, the Roman ruins of ConÃmbriga and several beautiful Praias Fluviais where locals gather to swim and relax during the summer months.
Perched on a hilltop, Vila na Colina offers a peaceful base from which to experience the best of Central Portugal, while returning each day to privacy, panoramic views and tranquility.
The ground floor includes one bedroom, one bathroom, the kitchen and dining area, making the home suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Please note that the living room is located on the upper floor and is only accessible via stairs. The property is not wheelchair accessible.
